Grand Island Catholic School

Development Foundation Mission
Growing Giving Hearts, One Person, One Gift at a Time

The Grand Island Central Catholic Development Foundation serves as the financial investment arm of Central Catholic Schools. Through this body, we grow our school’s long-term financial stability, while always keeping in mind the goal of providing a Catholic education available to all. The foundation properly invests annual gifts from families, parish, alumni, and community members to generate sustainable earnings for our school. The foundation’s board of trustees oversees both the endowed and non-endowed funds reserved for the school, as well as annual contributions for the operating budget.

Our Mission

The mission of Grand Island Central Catholic Development Foundation is to promote the understanding and support of the school’s mission among all constituents and obtain charitable gifts for Central Catholic Schools through friends and fundraising.

Impacting the Future

The Central Catholic Development Foundation commits to making an impact in students’ lives by providing a Catholic-centered academic environment. To continue to accomplish this, we need your involvement and support for the long-term vitality of Grand Island Central Catholic. The Grand Island Central Catholic Development Foundation provides on-going financial support for school improvements, teacher salaries, and tuition support.

Through the generosity of individuals, families, and businesses, GICC’s future remains strong, but is in need of continued financial assistance. Help us make a difference in a child’s life by donating and/or volunteering today. Your contributions and involvement do make a difference!

You can make gifts of cash online, or mail them to GICC Development Foundation at 1200 Ruby Ave. Grand Island, NE 68803.

Memorials, scholarships, and honorary gifts honor a loved one, living or deceased, through a charitable gift. It is an especially meaningful way of paying tribute to family or friends, who have been an important part of our lives.

Annual giving is a vital link to helping Grand Island Central Catholic with specific needs.

Planned giving is personally choosing the best method to make a charitable gift from your assets. You will be able to take advantage of the tax laws to accomplish your financial and charitable goals. Your bequests help sustain Grand Island Central Catholics future. You can create a gift with stocks, bonds, wills, bequests, life insurance, and charitable remainder trusts to Central Catholic Development Foundation to benefit GICC. Please contact GICC Development Foundation at (308) 382.5499.

Volunteer your time and talents to benefit the GICC by contacting the foundation office. We simply would not have the quality and depth of programs available to our students without the countless hours our volunteers donate. We need your help; remember, “Many hands make light work!” We are grateful for the support and love you show your children, our community, and our mission as you kindly and gladly serve.

Big Screen Advertising

Promote your business or post a special message to a captive audience on our GICC big screen! Hundreds of people view our digital big screen in the south gym every month! Businesses take advantage of this exposure by displaying their logos and contact information. The board is also available to parents and students; you can say, “Happy Birthday,” “Happy Anniversary," or promote an event. For more information and pricing, please call Brenda Branstiter in the Foundation Office at (308) 382.5499.
