Grand Island Catholic School

Impacting The Future
One Person, One Gift at a Time

Central Catholic Development Foundation. Our Faith, Our Hope, Our Future. With a new academic year upon us, the hallways of Grand Island Central Catholic are alive once again. The coming year is yet another opportunity for our students to deepen and grow in their faith—whether in the classroom, on stage, or on the athletic field.

Central Catholic has an enduring legacy of academic and religious excellence, and we want to ensure that this legacy continues into the future. To grow this legacy even stronger, the Central Catholic Development Foundation has launched a capital campaign, Our Faith…Our Hope…Our Future, to do the following:

  • Increase student tuition assistance for three years to enable a greater number of students the opportunity to benefit from a Central Catholic education.
  • Update our building with energy-efficient windows and new signage, renovate the bathrooms, and construct an outbuilding with concessions and bathrooms.
  • Increase the transportation fund for student athletics and student activities.

We ask that you please take a few moments to look over the campaign materials for more information about these objectives and to consider making a donation.

To achieve our goal of $1.5 million, we need your assistance. Our goal is to have one of our volunteers visit with you about the project. We ask that you be gracious in welcoming these individuals and be considerate in your response.

We view your generous support of Central Catholic as a statement of your faith and commitment to this school community. We want to reiterate how much we appreciate your sacrificial gift and just how important it is in furthering the school’s legacy and ensuring the best possible experience for our students.

We pray that you know the fullness of God’s blessing as you participate in the service of Grand Island Catholic Schools, and thank you for your continued support and consideration.

Annual Crusade

2017 marked the first of many in Central Catholic's Annual Crusade. Aligned with the community's Go Big Give fundraiser, the Annual Crusade accepts donations for school and student necessities. By donating to the foundation's Annual Crusade for Central Catholic during the designated Go Big Give timeframe in May, your donation earns bonus funds for our organization! Based on categories such as total amount raised, dates and times of donations, and other incremental milestones, the Central Catholic Development Foundation will receive a percentage of the Go Big Give bonus funds that are available this year!

2018 Annual Crusade

Please consider participating in our 2018 Annual Crusade! By donating through Go Big Give, GICC is eligible for additional funds matched by Go Big Give. We strongly urge you to show your love for GICC and our students on or before May 3, 2018. We will be recognizing all donations at the tiered levels. To learn more about this year's event, please view the Annual Crusade donation form. You may also make your donation online by visiting the Go Big Give website. Thank you for your support!

Big Screen Advertising

Promote your business or post a special message to a captive audience on our GICC big screen! Hundreds of people view our digital big screen in the south gym every month! Businesses take advantage of this exposure by displaying their logos and contact information. The board is also available to parents and students; you can say, “Happy Birthday,” “Happy Anniversary," or promote an event. For more information and pricing, please call Brenda Branstiter in the Foundation Office at (308) 382.5499.

    Get Involved!

Stewardship is one of the most important and effective gifts you can give. We simply would not have the quality and depth of programs available to our students without the countless hours our volunteers donate. We need your help; remember, “many hands make light work!” We are grateful for the support and love you show your children, our community, and our mission as you kindly and gladly serve.
