Knight Dinner and Auction
Planning has begun for the 2019 Knight Dinner and Auction on November 15! We are excited to announce our chairs for 2019; they are Greg & Lisa Rerucha and Steve & Karla Schneider.
This is the 22nd Knight, which means hundreds of people have donated their time and talent to make this such a long-standing successful event. It is spectacular that so many people have worked for numerous years on this amazing event. Without the volunteers, we would not be ready to open the doors each year to give our attendees the premier event they expect!
It is a blessing to have so many supportive individuals and businesses that donate money and auction items year after year. A big thank you to Mike and Jean Hamik and Scott and Kellie Weyers and their Knight Wonderland committee for a successful 2018 Knight! Last year's Knight became the highest dollars raised during the Knight, bringing in over $326,000 to help support GICC. We are able to continue raising funds to help Grand Island Central Catholic Schools develop our youth spiritually as well as academically through a Catholic school curriculum because of the continued support for the Knight.
We hope that you will consider helping this year! If you wish to donate or attend The Knight in Wonderland, please contact the development foundation. We are truly grateful for everyone's support!
By using text bidding, anyone from anywhere in the world can visit our auction website to view the auction items, register as a bidder, and place online bids. Check back in November 2019 for bidding information during the next Knight.
Bid for Me
Let us help you get in on the action even if you cannot attend the 2019 Knight Dinner and Auction. To bid on any of our live auction items next fall, please contact the foundation office by 3:00 p.m. the Thursday before the Knight. Using our Bid for Me service, you will provide a max bid amount for the item(s) you would like to try winning, and someone will bid on your behalf during the live auction.
The Knight Dinner and Auction event began in 1998 and became the school’s premier fundraiser, raising up to $326,000 for our young Crusaders. This elegant dinner served by students, parents, and patrons also features games and raffles as well as a silent and live auction. Our history of success is due to the tremendous efforts and generosity of our volunteers and community.
