The Knight in Wonderland
Planning has begun for the 2018 Knight Dinner and Auction on November 16! We are excited to announce our chairs for 2018; they are Jean Hamik and Kellie Weyers! Jean has chaired and helped with several previous Knights along with her husband Mike. Jean continues to have passion and excitement about the Knight! This year, their daughter Kellie and her husband Scott have agreed to join Jean and Mike to make it The Knight in Wonderland!
This is the 21st Knight, which means hundreds of people have donated their time and talent to make this such a long-standing successful event. It is spectacular that so many people have worked for numerous years on this amazing event. Without the volunteers, we would not be ready to open the doors each year to give our attendees the premier event they expect!
It is a blessing to have so many supportive individuals and businesses that donate money and auction items year after year. A big thank you to Stephanie Connick and Tena Herbek and their Knight in Emerald City committee for a successful 2017 Knight! We are able to continue raising funds to help Grand Island Central Catholic Schools develop our youth spiritually as well as academically through a Catholic school curriculum because of the continued support for the Knight!

Mad Hatter Raffle
Students and their families will sell these tickets. The tickets are $25 each and the possible prizes are $1,000 cash, Apple Series 3 GPS watch, and Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II Wireless Headphones. We will draw the winning tickets on November 16 at The Knight in Wonderland event.
Foundation board members and the foundation office will sell these tickets. They are also available for purchase at Tom Dinsdale Automotive and U-Save South. The tickets are $100 each, with only 500 tickets available for sale. The prize is a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, fully loaded! We will draw the winning ticket on November 16 at The Knight in Wonderland event. A huge thank you to Tom and Kim Dinsdale and Mike and Jean Hamik for donating the vehicle!

Bid for Me
Let us help you get in on the action even if you cannot attend the 2018 Knight Dinner & Auction! To bid on any of our live auction items next fall, please contact the foundation office by 3:00 p.m. the Thursday before the Knight. Using our "Bid for Me" service, you will provide a max bid amount for the item(s) you would like to try winning, and someone will bid on your behalf during the live auction.
The Knight Dinner and Auction event began in 1998 and became the school’s premier fundraiser, raising up to $310,000 for our young Crusaders. This elegant dinner served by students, parents, and patrons also features games and raffles as well as a silent and live auction. Our history of success is due to the tremendous efforts and generosity of our volunteers and community.
