GICC FINE ARTS


March 4, 2008 - Once again, the GICC Speech team has dominated at district competition. Those taking first place honors at the C1-6 Championship held at Centura are as follows: Laura Wirth in Informative and Persuasive; Hannah Davis in entertainment; Tim Dvorak in extemporaneous; MaKayla Jones in poetry. Pulling in second place medals were: Katie Harris in serious prose; Maegan Kellogg, MiKayla Northup, and Alysia Strong in OID; Marie Lesiak in poetry; Jacob Nordhues in humorous prose. Both first and second place medalist will compete at the state level, later this month.
